Why our clients return to us again, and again, and again.
At Williams Hortor, we pride ourselves on being personable, knowledgeable, and solution focused.
As solicitors with over 30 years combined legal expertise, Williams Hortor is a boutique practice that excels when it comes to the quality of service offered to clients.
Experience has taught us the importance of getting to know our clients, their stories and, crucially, their matters, well. As our client, typically you will have direct contact with the same lawyer for the duration of your matter. Therefore you can be confident that whoever has conduct of your case will be familiar with all the relevant details, without you having to repeat the details of your case to another lawyer at some stage down the line.
At Williams Hortor you will feel valued, listened to, and understood.
That’s why our clients keep coming back to us again…and again…and again.
Williams Hortor provide an excellent level of service that is not hampered by time or distance. The company’s legal expertise and outstanding commitment to achieving results is next to none. I found their humane interaction not only extremely helpful but also very re-assuring. I definitely recommend them.

Kay Agbaje-Williams
Practice areas: Immigration, Private Client, Power of Attorney & Commissioner for Oaths
Kay is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a specialist immigration law practitioner. He is also qualified to practice as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He began his legal career abroad at the firm of Rotimi Williams and Co, one of the foremost legal practices in Nigeria at the time. Following successful completion of his LLM at University College London, he worked in the Civil Service and was a presenting officer for the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. For many years he successfully advocated the Government’s position in countless tribunal hearings, saving the Government millions of pounds.
He moved into the private sector where he worked with Hackman Solicitors in London. Whilst there, he became an accredited immigration practitioner, building up a significant practice in immigration law. He has expanded his areas of practice to probate and letters of administration.
Kay is best known for his tenacity and attention to detail, his sound reasoning and analytical abilities, and his problem solving skills. He loves legal technicalities which are evident from his detailed skeleton arguments – but that is what makes him such a successful practitioner! These strategic skills have resulted in ‘more than satisfactory’ settlements and outcomes for clients.
A very private person, he loves listening to music, and following the Formula One racing season.
He is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (“ILPA”).
Whilst Kay Agbaje-Williams is the main practitioner, he has consultant solicitors who work with him.
