Kay Agbaje-Williams

Practice area: Immigration

Kay Agbaje-WilliamsKay is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He is also qualified to practice in Nigeria as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

He began his legal career abroad at the firm of Rotimi Williams and Co, one of the foremost legal practices in Nigeria before working at the Home Office as a presenting officer for the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority where for many years he successfully advocated the Government’s position in countless tribunals, saving the Government millions of pounds.

He then moved from the public sector into the private sector building up a significant practice in immigration law as an accredited immigration practitioner.

Kay is best known for his tenacity and attention to detail, his sound reasoning and analytical abilities, and his problem-solving skills. These together with his effective and strategic planning skills have resulted in ‘more than satisfactory’ outcomes for his clients.

We tease him in the office about his love of legal technicalities and his detailed skeleton arguments – but that is what makes him such a successful practitioner!

A very private person, he loves listening to music, and following the Formula One racing season.

He is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association.
